Hi, I am Sydney. I live in Phoenix, Arizona but serve statewide! I have been serving Families since 2017 as a birth and postpartum doula. I am a Certified Doula and a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor.

I am honored to share my expertise, experiences, and love for birth with expecting families. I wear many hats when it comes to supporting you throughout your pregnancy, postpartum, or breastfeeding journey. I provide emotional, physical, and informational support so you are getting the best experience you desire.

In 2018, I spent 10 months in Kenya supporting mothers through their labor and postpartum experience. I alternated time between the local hospital and birthing centers in the area providing comfort measures, and educational support, speaking positive affirmations to mothers who needed to get back into their desired mindset, and helping with latching and breastfeeding issues that would arise.

 

During my time there I learned Swahili, so I was able to communicate effectively with the families I was supporting. I got to enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife. I was so honored to learn so much from the wonderful locals whom I got to spend my time throughout those 10 months. During my time in Kenya, I was honored to attend about 700 births! In total, I have attended around 1000 births.
